Muskalonge Cemetery, Restoration Project

In 2010, a group of concerned citizens came together to form "Friends of Muskalonge Cemetery", whose sole purpose was to restore the vandalized grounds of this pioneer cemetery. The Friends of the cemetery have held work parties to get that effort off the ground; and anticipate 3 - 5 year restoration plan at this cemetery. Third and Final Work Party - Restored to their upright position were the stones of Louis. Livermore (wife of Solomon Livermore), Albert Allen, and Charlotte & William Benjamin.

Fall Arrives at Muskalonge Cemetery.

For our third and final work party of 2012, there was much yet to do. We will include the photos in another post. We appreciate your continued support, and will continue work efforts in 2013, primarily, the placement of military headstones for those veterans whose stones are currently broken.
