Muskalonge Cemetery, Restoration Project

In 2010, a group of concerned citizens came together to form "Friends of Muskalonge Cemetery", whose sole purpose was to restore the vandalized grounds of this pioneer cemetery. The Friends of the cemetery have held work parties to get that effort off the ground; and anticipate 3 - 5 year restoration plan at this cemetery. The Friends group met for their 3rd Annual Winter Dinner, February 3, 2013, to review where they are at presently in the restoration effort. Discussions included fundraising, Veterans Memorial, signage, Memorial Day Services (scheduled to be held Mon., May 27th), 2013 work parties, and other topics under review.
