Placement of John H. Roacher, Jr. military headstone occurred in 2012. Roacher was the former cemetery caretaker.
2013: It is hard to believe the Friends of Muskalonge Cemetery are in their 3rd year of a five year plan to restore the damage which occurred at Muskalonge by vandals. As with each of the past three winters, the Friends group are making plans to come together for their annual dinner to review where they are at presently in the restoration effort. They continue to seek volunteers. If you would like to assist, or to find out more about scheduled work parties, contact Beverly at beverlyk@twcny.rr.com.

For our third and final work party of 2012, there was much yet to do. We will include the photos in another post. We appreciate your continued support, and will continue work efforts in 2013, primarily, the placement of military headstones for those veterans whose stones are currently broken. Please check back in the spring for details. You may view those interred at this cemetery on Find A Grave, posted by our representative for your convenience. Thank you for your financial support!
