Friends group plan to meet for a Fall work party on Sat., October 12th, at 10:00 a.m.

For a 3rd year straight, a Memorial Day Observance is scheduled at Muskalonge Cemetery, Monday, May 27th, 9:00 am (other stops for the Town of Hounsfield and Village of Sackets Harbor include Sulphur Springs, Sackets Harbor Military & Lakeside cemeteries, and Madison Barracks War of 1812 burial grounds). The Sackets Harbor American Legion, (select) Sentinel Band & 10th Mt. Division members will stop at Muskalonge to pay tribute to those who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Friends of the cemetery are working this weekend to place flowers and flags on veteran graves.

2013 Memorial Day Ceremony is planned at Muskalonge Cemetery, Monday May 27th, at 9:00 a.m.

The Friends group met for their 3rd Annual Winter Dinner, February 3, 2013, to review where they are at presently in the restoration effort. Discussions included fundraising, Veterans Memorial, signage, Memorial Day Services (scheduled to be held Mon., May 27th), 2013 work parties, and other topics under review. 2013: It is hard to believe the Friends of Muskalonge Cemetery are in their 3rd year of a five year plan to restore the damage which occurred at Muskalonge by vandals. As with each of the past three winters, the Friends group are making plans to come together for their annual dinner to review where they are at presently in the restoration effort.
